TSN, RDS and Sportsnet are longer included in your TV package if you are a business customer with a liquor licence. These channels are offered separately in two Sports packages at an additional cost determined by your business’s seating capacity.

Business customers who do not have a liquor licence will continue to receive these channels as part of their current subscription package.

This change impacts Business TV customers in all Canadian provinces, in possession of liquor licence (e.g. bars, restaurants, hotels, social clubs).

The following channels will be available as two separate sports packages:

	TSN 1, TSN 2, TSN 3, TSN 4, TSN 5, RDS 1, RDS 2
	Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet East, Sportsnet West, Sportsnet Pacific, Sportsnet 360, Sportsnet One

Business customers who do not have a liquor licence will continue to enjoy these channels as part of their current subscription package.

For Business customers with a liquor licence, all TSN, RDS and Sportsnet channels will be removed from their base package and will be made available for purchase as Add-on channels.

Many TV service providers around the world have separate charges for sports channels to commercial establishments. The new rates are designed to more accurately reflect the commercial use of the sports channels and the value that these channels represent to commercial establishments. We believe that sports programming is a powerful attractor for bar and restaurant patrons, and that the investment to continue to receive these channels is a good business decision for most establishments.

This change applies to Business TV customers in all Canadian provinces, in possession of a liquor licence. To ensure the fair treatment of all customers, access to Sports channels will be restricted to paid subscribers.

Showing live sporting events, particularly for businesses with a liquor licence, helps to create atmosphere, drive customer traffic and increase revenue.

If your business is in possession of a liquor licence, and located in any Canadian province, and you do not sign up to receive these sports packages, TSN, RDS and Sportsnet will be removed from your existing TV programming.
