1. Press and hold the MUTE button for 2-3 seconds.

   

2. Look at the LED lights (beside the power button)

   

• The green TV light blinks 3 times: Batteries are good
• The red Bell light blinks 3 times: Batteries are weak
• No lights flash: Batteries are dead
