The Wi-Fi optimizer will evaluate your Wi-Fi environment and provide a report. The tool will also provide automated solutions to help improve your Wi-Fi experience.

To use the Wi-Fi optimizer:

1. Open a web browser.
2. Type http://home (or 192.168.2.1) in the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard to access your modem's settings.

   

3. Click Wi-Fi optimizer.

   

4. Enter the administrator password. Unless you have changed it, the default password is "admin".

    

5. Click Optimize now to initiate the test. The test will take approximately 45 seconds.

   

6. The modem will confirm once the optimizations have been completed.
