NextGen Home Security™ provides motion detectors with immunity for animals up to 55 lbs.  

If you are unsure if your pet will trigger an alarm,  or you would prefer to avoid the possibility of this happening, you can set your household to Arm Stay.  This protects the perimeter of your house, but allows your pet to move around within it. 

If your pet's ability to move around is limited to a certain area of your house, you can bypass the Zone to which this area is assigned.
