Use your keypad to help identify the device with a low battery:
- Go to your keypad and press *2.
- Press 7. The low-battery device may be identified at this point.
- If the low-battery device was not identified, to check within the next group of devices press 7 again.
- Continue pressing 7 until the low device is identified or you have you have scrolled through (by using the arrow keys < >) and checked all device groups.
Note: You may need to press “7” up to six times to check all the device groupings depending on your system configuration.
Changing your battery
Before you change a battery, you need to avoid triggering a tamper alarm by:
- Calling the Central Monitoring Station (1-855-444-4562 )
- Telling them that you plan to change the batteries so they can temporarily disconnect the device from your system
