Connect my Xbox One to Wi-Fi

We know you need to get up and running with your new gaming console. This is normally supported through Microsoft but if you'd like to connect to your wireless modem, we can help you set it up.

To connect your Xbox One to Wi-Fi:

  1. Press the Menu button on the Xbox One controller.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network.
  4. On the Network Settings screen, select Setup wireless network.
  5. Select your network name for your Wi-Fi on the list.

The network name can be found on a sticker attached to your modem.

If you can not find your sticker, read our Find my Wi-Fi network name and password article.

  6. Enter in your password for your Wi-Fi.

The password can be found on a sticker attached to your modem.

If you can not find your sticker, read our Find my Wi-Fi network name and password article.

  7. On the Network Settings screen, select Test network connection.
  8. If the connection test is successful, you can use your console to connect to the internet.
