You can block devices from accessing the Internet on specific days and times. For example, you can limit the time your children spend online by specifying a day and time when their device (laptop, tablet, etc.) cannot access the Internet.
To create access controls:
- Open a web browser.
- Type http://home (or 192.168.2.1) in the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard to access your modem's settings.
- Click on the Access control button.
- Enter the administrator password. Unless you have changed it, the default password is "admin".
- Ensure Access control is turned on.
- At the prompt, click Yes.
- Click Create a new schedule.
- Enter a name for the new schedule.
- Click on the device you wish to set restrictions for.
- Click Apply.
- Click on the calendar to highlight when to apply restrictions.
- If required, you can choose to apply the same restricted hours by checking additional days.
- Click Apply.
- Click Save to set the restrictions.
