The Wi-Fi optimizer will evaluate your Wi-Fi environment and provide a report. The tool will also provide automated solutions to help improve your Wi-Fi experience.
To use the Wi-Fi optimizer:
- Open a web browser.
- Type http://home (or 192.168.2.1) in the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard to access your modem's settings.
- Click Wi-Fi optimizer.
- Enter the administrator password. Unless you have changed it, the default password is "admin".
- Click Optimize now to initiate the test. The test will take approximately 45 seconds.
- The modem will confirm once the optimizations have been completed.
