You can find your network name (also known as SSID) and network password (also known as WEP/WPA Encryption key) by logging in to your modem's admin utility.
Find your network name and password in the modem's admin utility
- From a computer already connected to your network, open up your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari).
- Type 192.168.2.1 and hit Enter.
- If prompted, enter your modem's admin utlity username and password. If you do not know your username and password, you can contact us for this information.
- Click the Advanced icon.
- Click the Home Network icon.
- Click Advanced settings.
- Click Configure the Local Home Networking modem wireless network.
- Click Yes – Enable wireless now and then click Next.
- Your Network name will be displayed beside the SSID field.
- Click Next.
- Your network password can be found in the field labeled 128 Bit key.
