Troubleshoot slow speeds and connection issues

Your Internet speed can vary based on many factors such as the servers you are connecting with, the performance of your computer and how many devices are sharing your connection in your home.

To troubleshoot your slow speeds:

  1. Connect your computer directly to your modem using an Ethernet cable. You may not see accurate results if you are using a Wi-Fi connection because of interference from other appliances, cordless phones and devices.
  2. Perform a speed test with the Test your Fibe speeds tool.
  3. If your results are low, continue troubleshooting.
