Accessing The Weather Network app through the app menu
You can access The Weather Network app directly on your Fibe TV receiver without any additional equipment.
- Press APPS or INTERACTIVE TV on your remote to bring up the App Launcher.
- Scroll to the Weather Network icon and press SELECT or OK to launch the app.
- Your current channel will be tuned to The Weather Network channel and the app will appear on top.
Exiting the app
Option 1
Hold down the Back/Exit button on your remote.
Option 2
- Press the left arrow on your remote to open the in-app menu.
- Scroll to and select Exit.
Setting a language preference for the app
The language preference on The Weather Network app is separate from the one you set on your Fibe TV receiver.
To change your preferred language:
- Launch the app.
- Press the left arrow on your remote to open the in-app menu.
- Scroll to and select Settings.
- Scroll to Language. Press the right arrow, then scroll to and select your preferred language.
Saving a location
- Launch the app.
- Press the left arrow on your remote to open the in-app menu.
- Scroll to and select Search.
- Start typing the desired location. Suggested search results will appear.
- Scroll to and select the desired search result.
- The weather page for the location will appear, indicating the search result has been saved. A maximum of 10 locations can be saved.
Setting a default location
You can set one of your saved locations as your default location.
- Launch the app.
- Press the left arrow on your remote to open the in-app menu.
- Scroll to and select Search.
- Scroll to Saved Locations. The default location is the left-most one.
- Scroll to the location you want to set as your default location. Three icons will appear: left arrow, X and right arrow.
- Press the up arrow on your remote to highlight the X icon.
- Press the left arrow on your remote to highlight the left arrow icon and press SELECT. This will move the location one slot to the left.
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the location is in the default (left-most) slot.
