Change or reset my Bell Aliant email password


You can change your Bell Aliant email password in two ways:

  • From the My Account login page
  • Once logged in to My Account, from the Internet overview page 

Steps to change or reset email password from the My Account login page


  1.  Go to My Account.
  2. Select the link Change Bell Aliant email account password at the bottom of the screen.

  3. The Internet account login screen appears with the email radio button selected.
    1. Enter your email account username in the username field.
    2. Enter your email password in the Password field.
    3. Select Log in.

      Note: If you have forgotten your username or password, select the link I forgot my username or password for assistance on how to obtain your email login credentials.

  4. The Internet account screen appears. Select the option to change password from the menu on the left. Follow the instructions to change email password or see steps 7-8. 

Steps to change email password from My Account Internet overview page

  1. Go to My Account.
  2. Enter your email address and your password.
  3. Select Log in

    Note: If you haven't registered for My Account, select the Register now button. You will need: 

    • Your Bell Aliant account number
    • The postal code where your services are currently installed

  1. The My Account overview screen appears. Select the Internet tile.

  2. The Internet overview screen appears. Under the Webmail section, select Change or reset email password.

  3. The Internet account login screen appears with the email radio button selected.
    1. Enter the first part of your email username in the Username field, for example, "jsmith"
    2. Select the last part of your email address from the drop-down, for example,
    3. Enter your email password in the Password field.
    4. Select Submit.

    Note: If you have not linked My Account to your Internet service, you will be asked to link them at this step. By doing so, you can access your Internet service to make changes, such as adding email addresses, without having to use a separate login.

  4. The Change your Internet and E-mail Passwords screen appears. 
  5. Select Change Passwords.

  6. Enter your current email password, your new email password and then your new email password again to confirm it.
  7. Select Submit. Note: You will know your password change was completed when you see a confirmation screen with: You have successfully updated your password(s).


  8. Select Continue to return to the main Internet Account screen, or Log Out to end your session.
