In accordance with CRTC Telecom Decision 2003-45, Provision of telecommunications services to customers in multi-dwelling units, dated June 30, 2003, Bell Aliant is required, as a condition of providing telecommunications service in a multi-dwelling unit (MDU), to make available on its web site all terms and conditions, including fees, of any written access agreement concluded with the building owner of that MDU within 30 days of having reached or amended the agreement.

The Commission further required that Bell Aliant make available on its web site all terms and conditions, including fees, of any written access agreement concluded with the building owner for the installation of telecommunications facilities during the construction of that MDU, within 10 days of having reached such an agreement. The Commission also required that Bell Aliant provide notice, on its web site, of any unwritten access agreement concluded with the building owner for the installation of telecommunications facilities during the construction of that MDU, within 10 days of having reached such an agreement.

Note

  1. As the Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier Bell Aliant provides local exchange service to most MDUs in New Brunswick, Newfoundland Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
  2. Service is provided under Bell Aliant's CRTC approved "Terms of Service" and no other written access agreements exist for these buildings.
  3. Local Exchange Carriers requesting information on any other specific locations are requested to contact their Bell Aliant Carrier Services Group representative via normal channels.
