Setting up your Fibe TV Box

Step 1: Connecting your Fibe TV Box

Before following the steps below, please ensure your Bell modem is set up and turned on.

  1. Plug the HDMI cable into the Fibe TV Box.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV.
  3. Connect the power supply to the Fibe TV Box.
  4. Plug the power supply into a power outlet.
  5. Using your TV remote, not the Fibe TV Voice Remote, choose the correct HDMI input on your TV.
  6. Wait for instructions to appear on your TV and follow the steps. Repeat for any additional TVs. This may take up to 5 minutes per TV.

Note: use the HDMI cable Bell provided for the best user experience.

Step 2: Connecting your Giga Hub modem and your TV receiver

  1. During the Fibe TV Box guided setup, use your Fibe TV Voice Remote to select Giga Hub when prompted.
  2. On your modem, use the down button  Black down button with white down arrow  to scroll to Connect Wi-Fi device (WPS) and press OK.
  3. Point your remote at your receiver and press OK.

Your modem should now be paired. If pairing was unsuccessful, try again or manually input your Wi-Fi password.

Step 3: Connecting your Home Hub 3000 modem and your TV receiver

  1. During the Fibe TV Box guided setup, use your Fibe TV Voice Remote to select Home Hub 3000 when prompted.
  2. Press the WPS button  Black WPS button with two black arrows  on your modem.
  3. Point your remote at your receiver and press OK.

Your modem should now be paired. If pairing was unsuccessful, try again or manually input your Wi-Fi password.

Step 4: Connecting your modem and your TV receiver

  1. During the Fibe TV Box guided setup, use your Fibe TV Voice Remote to select Other when prompted to choose your modem.
  2. Locate and press the WPS button  Black WPS button with two black arrows  on your modem.
  3. Point your remote at your receiver and press OK.

Your modem should now be paired. If pairing was unsuccessful, try again or manually input your Wi-Fi password.

Step 5: Changing the on-screen language

  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
  2. Scroll to Device and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Device preferences.
  4. Select Language.
  5. Select the language you want to use.

Step 6: Setting your receiver’s resolution

  1. Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Settings.
  2. Scroll to Accessibility & playback and select Streaming Quality.
  3. Select the desired resolution for your TV (we recommend Ultimate).
